SHOUTOUTS con'td

Originally, I wrote an essay for my shoutout, only to find out I had about 1/8th of the page to put it in. So in Barkada's last Anong Balita of Spring 2009, you'll find this shoutout:

Shout out to... FAMBAM: Christie, Kat, and Karl You guys are LOUD, AWKWARD, WEIRD, HILARIOUS, and I would not have it any other way! :] LOVE YOU!!!

And of course DC HOUSE ROOMMATES!!!: Christie, Kevin, Katie, Angie, Allister, and honorary members Amanda and Greg. I just have one thing to say, "YOU'RE NOT DOWN!!!" haha. LOVE YOU GUYS!!! (for the complete shout out, check out thamarkonurface.blogspot.com :] )

Now for the non-Sparknotes word vomit version:

Shout out to the FAMBAM: Kat, Karl, and Christie! I don't even know where to begin with you guys. You guys are awkward I tell you....AWKWARD! Although you guys are insanely loud laughers with A.D.D. and Turrets at times (cough::Karl and Christie::cough), there's not a moment where I don't laugh when I'm hanging out with anyone of you.

Kat...or is it Kathryn? Kathleen? Katfood? anyways, I don't even know how you become the center of our jokes, but without making fun of you, we wouldn't have gotten any of those good laughs. So, thank goodness we adopted you, but enough about you. Lol. But for real, it's weird how alike you and your ate are. It's as if I'm hanging out with Christie when I'm with you, except you're not as loud, and she's not as ugly. =X hahaha. jk, LOVE YOU! Okay por reels por reels, it's been a pleasure getting to know you and being able to talk to you on so many different levels about so many different things. You're a really great listener, advice giver, and friend to anyone who needs one, especially to us. You're always there for us, as much as we are for you. THANKS!

(German accent): KAWRUUL! You're one crazy "ading" with an entertaining personality. Seriously, you can dance, you could sing, apparently act...almost as good as me lol. pft! NAHT! I wish I was as good as you! Don't believe me? I'll put your youtube video back up on my status! For those of you who haven't seen it, CLICK HERE haha. We've had some pretty good talks, sober and drunk lol. But yea, I know we're not really able to chill and bond more, but you know what, even if I wasn't on b.Mod that long with you or even if you're not my legit ading, I wouldn't have our friendship right now any other way. LOVE YOU!

Christie. To this day, I still trip about all those moments, and there are TOO MANY moments, where our minds would like synch up and we'd say or do or even SING the exact same things at the exact same times then stop mid way in shock that the other person said or did the same thing hahah. Most of the time, it'd be funny. Other times it'd be freaky. Sometimes it'd be straight up awkward and we wouldn't say anything to each other afterward. PRRRTTT! But I could honestly say that you've been a big influence in my life. When I think about it, we've been through A LOT this year lol. There were times where I just wanted to rip your head off lol, and times where at the end of the day all I want to do is see you, and you'd be there. No matter what, you'll always be one of my best friends. You've met my family, I've met yours. Let's just get this over with! I'm gonna propose to you real soon.....REAL SOON ;]

(wth is Rodney doing there?! lol)

And Finally DC HOUSE "ROOMMATES"!!! To, again, Christie, Kevin, Katie, Angie, Allister: All I want to say is (points index finger at you) "YOU'RE NOT DOWN!!!" Man, did that phrase f**k up our Fall Quarter or what? lol. From drinking two bottles of 151 like water on a Wednesday afternoon to swimming turning into skinny dipping til 5am, thanks to you guys, I probably would not have had one of the greatest years of my college life, if not my whole life. Thanks for everything you've done, for being my home away from home, and for that matter everyone else's home away from home; for opening your house to parties, to cops and their tasers, and we can't forget Teresa the Tumbleweed or that annoying f**king cat. (I miss that cat actually ::low monstrous tone:: "MEEEOOWWWW!); for one of the greatest Thanksgiving dinners ever; for having one of the coolest pools with a slide, except now it's turned into a pond or green lagoon with lily pads and frogs and catfish that Angie is still down to swim in apparently =\ haha. But no matter what was going on at the house, I always enjoyed my time spent there with you guys. You guys are more than welcome to my suite :D lol. I can honestly say you guys are MY FAMILY!

Sssssso Ssssssooon

I knew this day would come.

Ever since that one incident, I knew that they would eventually give way to the inevitable. But I didn't think it would be so soon. The first one decided to let go of life early. It was weak and could not hold on much longer. However, I tried taking matters into my own hands by connecting it to a life supporter. So far, It has proved to be sufficient.

But something so simple would not suffice for the second one. It used its last breath this afternoon. Sadly, I couldn't do much for it. But I'm relieved to know its death was quick and painless. You shall be missed dearly.....

Dance The Night Away

Day one of blog one.

I dislike Tuesdays. Tuesdays = longest days of the week for 3 more weeks.

I like Fridays. Especially T.G.I.Friday's Happy Hour and random drives to find one for mashed potatoes (::cough:: Kat -_-), which ironically occurred on a Monday night with Christie, Kat and Kevin. Epic drive to Anaheim Hills/Yorba Linda that entailed yet another journey after exiting the 91. We detoured around the area with our destination in sight, but it was as if we were driving around an enormous forested moat, looking for the drawbrigde to T.G.I.F.'s. "SOO close, yet so EFFIN far." It was RIGHT THERE. Then we realized we were driving away from it. FAIL. Eventually, that drawbridge appeared to us. And with it, late night satisfaction.

Today (Tuesday) was not so exciting. 10 in the morning to 7 in the afternoon, 3 hours of which were spent under the sun looking at 10 different turf grasses and another 3 hours in a lab playing with DIRT, excuse me, I mean SOIL. I wish I could say I'm learning in that class. Don't get me wrong, I want to. I TRY TO. But my professor is just...IMPOSSIBLE. Karl: "I'm sure you'll end up doing great in that class though. :)"
Thanks Ads. I hope so too...

Just heard Bobby Valentino's Rebirth album. One song especially caught my ear. An interlude. A short melody put on repeat that somehow made my night. Calming. Carefree.

A good way
To end the day
...Dance the Night Away.
